CORE COMPETENCIES AND THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

The author believes the winners in the next 10 to 15 years are those who fundamentally understand how to get the shared competitive agenda throughout the company and simultaneously use their capacity to leverage all resources. If a company has developed a strategic architecture, then it has a way of starting to understand what core competencies it has and what it needs to acquire--so it has a road map.
