TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES FOR RADIOACTIVE WASTE SHIPMENTS
This publication concerns various tracking technologies available for the monitoring of radioactive waste shipments. It describes the state of the art in tracking systems primarily for motor carriers, and reviews examples of current applications. In addition, the safety benefits that may accrue through the use of tracking technology are examined.
