ESTIMATED HIGHWAY PLANNING AND RESEARCH PROGRAM. PART II - RESEARCH
The research program of the Arizona Department of Transportation for Fiscal Year 1992 contains the specific research activities to be undertaken by the Arizona Department of Transportation. Research is the responsibility of the ATRC Director with the assistance of a Policy Council. The total cost of the new activities presented in this work program is estimated to be $580,000. HPR funds requested are $2,335,947 of which $2,035,947 are carry-over funds from the previous HPR Programs and $300,000 are new monies. The HPR-PL-1(41) program contains proposed research projects, continuing research projects and three programs of continuing nature. The total cost of the proposed projects is estimated to be $882,295 and cost of the continuing projects and programs is $993,149. This report contains the distribution of funds for the various new projects, a summary of the individual projects, and detailed descriptions for each project. Upon FHWA approval, this work will become the basis for execution of Federal Project Agreement HPR-PL-1(41).
