TRAFFIC OPERATIONS AT TWO-WAY STOP-CONTROLLED INTERSECTIONS. FINAL REPORT. VOLUME II: AN EMPIRICAL METHOD TO ESTIMATE CAPACITY AND DELAY ON MINOR STREET APPROACH
The primary objective of this study was to develop a new procedure that could be used to evaluate the operations and performance of two-way stop-controlled (TWSC) intersections. This volume, Volume II, explores the current Highway Capacity Manual procedure for evaluating the operation and performance of a TWSC intersection and suggests new methods for the analysis of one set of traffic movements, the minor street approaches.
