PROPOSED METHODS OF TEST FOR CHEMICAL RESISTANCE OF CONCRETE AND CEMENT PASTE IN AGGRESSIVE SOLUTIONS . DURABILITY OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS. PROCEEDINGS OF THE FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD IN BRIGHTON, NOVEMBER 7-9, 1990
This paper summarized the draft of the standard testing methods for chemical resistance of concrete in aggressive solutions and that of cement paste, proposed by the Chemical Resistance Working Group of the Research Committee on the Safety of Structural Materials, organized in the Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials, as well as the related researches performed by the members of the Working Group from 1978 to 1982, on the many factors influencing the chemical resistance of concrete, mortar and cement paste. It also introduces an example of the recent experimental studies, making use of these proposed methods. (Author/TRRL)
