FAILURE CRITERIA FOR CONCRETE AND EXPERIMENTAL TEST OF CONCRETE STRENGTH UNDER BIAXIAL COMPRESSIVE STRESSES

This paper outlines ten failure criteria for concrete and describes a concrete strength test under biaxial compressive stresses. The test results are compared with those calculated with the ten criteria. A new formula for predicting concrete strength under biaxial compressive stresses is then proposed based on the test results and the comparison. (TRRL)
