PRELIMINARY STUDY ON INTERNAL ENERGY SUPPLY FOR MAGNETIC LEVITATION TRAINS

In this paper many energy systems are studied and compared to each other as candidates for an internal energy supply system for the JR-maglev train. The weight, size, energy density, recharge ability, reliability, and emissions of each candidate are compared and discussed. The best candidates that were selected are presented.
