DEUX MONTAGNES - CANADA'S ONLY ELECTRIFIED COMMUTER SERVICE
The article discusses the long overdue need for upgrading the system. The coaches' average age, many of which ride on now rare six-wheel trucks, is over 60, a large number date to 1919. This largely superannuated collection provides peak-hour service, and the loss of the electrics would be a serious inconvenience for many city residents who have no convenient alternative service.
