"TRIPLES" MORE APPROACH STREAMS, FEWER FLIGHT DELAYS
This article discusses a new airport design to increase capacity through the use of a third independent approach stream during instrument flight rule (IFR) conditions. Provides description of Atlanta's co-sponsorship of a simulation of potential new triple IFR flight arrivals at the FAA Technical Center in 1988.
