The development of a general failure model for a class of polymer concrete was researched. Experiments were performed on mortars made of 3 diffferent epoxy binders. The results establish benchmark data and experimental methods to lead to a better understanding of polymer mortar's behavior and contribute toward standardization of test procedures. The model which combines the Mohr-Coulomb dual stress failure criteria with an absolute-temperature-based-kinetic-rate equation, can be used for predicting failure and limits of strengths of a group of epoxy mortar materials.
