METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING VEHICLE USAGE AND SPEEDS FOR MOBILE SOURCE EMISSIONS INVENTORIES. IN: TRANSPORTATION PLANNING METHODS APPLICATIONS. PROCEEDINGS, THIRD NATIONAL CONFERENCE, DALLAS, TEXAS, APRIL 22-26, 1991

This report outlines the methodology used to calculate the necessary speed and vehicle miles of travel (VMT) inputs to the air quality modeling processes. There is a section on general methodology which outlines the process for those not familiar with transportation modeling, and a section devoted to specific computer and other applications necessary to duplicate these results. The data diskette supplied to Maryland Air Management Administration (MAMA) is an integral part of this report.
