PROCEEDINGS OF A SPECIALTY CONFERENCE SPONSORED BY THE HIGHWAY DIVISION OF THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS AND THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION. DENVER MARRIOTT CITY CENTER HOTEL, DENVER, COLORADO, APRIL 8-10, 1991
This paper preents a brief description of the accelerated laboratory tests developed in the SHRP Asphalt Project, 'Performance Related Testing and Measuring of Asphalt Interactions and Mixtures.' Included are discussions of the test developed to define the fatigue, permanent deformation, thermal cracking, aging, water sensitivity, and stiffness characteristics, as well as a brief discussion of the recommended procedure, rolling wheel compaction, for the preparation of specimens to be used for each of the tests.
