The paper presents modern methods for concrete mix design including the use of admixtures. It describes current concreting techniques for subterranean structures using equipment to speed up the transport process and concreting in complex conditions of a limited space. It also presents all relevant factors that can influence concrete quality such as aggregate, cement, admixture, mix design, concreting and curing.
