TUNEL "KRIZEVICI" - PRIMENJENE TEHNOLOGIJE IZVODJENJA RADOVA KOD IZRADE TUNELA U NAJTEZIM INZENJERSKO-GEOLOSKIM USLOVIMA

Two types of construction technology have been used in difficult geological conditions when constructing the krizevici tunnel. Construction of the tunnel started in 1914 but shortly afterwards it was stopped due to difficult construction conditions. During 1986, construction was restarted and the contractor was faced, besides difficult geological conditions, with a number of problems caused by previously performed works such as soil settlement, landslide and the presence of methane. Both technologies describe the tunnel construction in severe conditions including an analysis of the results obtained at the entrance and the exit of the tunnel itself.
