BEWERTUNG VON LAERMMINDERNDEN FAHRBAHNBELAEGEN IN OESTERREICH SEIT 1984

"Silent-Asphalt" has been specified as a noise reducing method in Austria ever since 1984. A noise level reduction of between 3-7 dB (A) has been registered. The ZWICKER method (DIN 45631) and measurement by a towed vehicle is used for the analysis of the noise-reduction produced by a drainage course. The report mainly describes the methods to estimate the noise level and the latest readings of these noise measurements. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 828172.
