QUALITY SHOULD GUIDE
The author presents his views on what makes a successful transportation system. He suggests the following goals: (1) Better and better service--more dependable delivery; (2) Lower and lower cost to the carrier; (3) Better quality of life for employees of carriers and shippers; and (4) Protection of the environment.
