THE IDENTIFICATION OF DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS THROUGH BODY PRIMER CHARACTERIZATION
Primer layers of domestic and foreign automobiles were studied according to color and layer sequences used by the various manufacturers. This was achieved by collecting paint samples, sanding them, examining them under a stereomicroscope, and performing various spot tests. The data were tabularized and grouped according to color and layer sequences. This method is expected to aid in the identification of many automobiles.
