SMALL WORLD...BIG BUSINESS
The Canadian automotive industry ranks seventh worldwide, and maintains a very strong relationship with the American auto industry. The Auto Pact ensured that the US-Canadian relationship continue to grow, but failed to emphasize necessary R & D which would allow Canadian industry to flourish. In face of the increasingly competitive global market, it is important for US and Canadian economic and industrial relations to remain strong, and for the Canadian parts industry to retain its role as an influential member of the market.
