Old crankcase oil can be blended with regular heat ing oil in equal proportion to provide energy savings and reduced fuel bills. To do this, an average-sized dealership facility would require approximately 50 gallons of waste material daily, an oil storage tank and an oil pump. The dealership would ralize a 50 percent savings in heating fuel costs. The only problem involved is impurities in the waste oil. Gasoline could be removed by allowing the waste oil to settle and then pumping the gasoline-free oil off from the bottom of the storage tank. A cotton filter could filter out any other impurities.
