ENFORCING HANDICAPPED PARKING LAWS: PROBLEMS, SOLUTIONS, AND WHERE TO GET HELP
In several areas of the country, innovative techniques are being used to reduce illegal parking in handicapped zones. In many areas, volunteers patrol potential trouble areas, and issue tickets or photograph illegally parked vehicles for evidence; elsewhere, existing security forces are used. The study cites policies exercised in Georgia, Ohio, Florida Maryland, and New York.
