REPORT ON THE 23RD ANNUAL JOINT CONFERENCE OF ENO FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND BOARD OF CONSULTANTS

The 23rd Annual Joint Conference of the Eno Foundation Board of Directors and Board of Consultants was held October 11, 1990, at the Westfields International Conference Center, Chantilly, Virginia. The conference featured eight prominent speakers discussing government and private roles in "The Growing Crisis in Urban Traffic Congestion." Moderator of the opening session--the government response panel--was Dr. Lester A. Hoel, Hamilton Professor of the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Virginia. Leading the private sector response in the afternoon session was Alan E. Pisarski, transportation consultant. This article briefly summarizes the presentations.
