YOUTHFUL MOTORISTS: INVESTIGATION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE STATE MINISTRY FOR HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
DER JUGENDLICHE KRAFTFAHRER: UNTERSUCHUNG IM AUFTRAG DBUNDESMINSTERIUMS FUR GESUNDHEIT UND UMWELTSCHUTZ
This project compared the types of accidents of various groups of persons according to age, sex, degree of intoxication, and seriousness of resultant injury. Data from 52,763 personal injury traffic accidents show that the age variable was dominant over the sex variable, although differences in the types of accidents characteristic of drivers in certain age groups disappeared when intoxicated drivers were considered.
