This study presents comparative data on six portland-pozzolan cements (ASTM Type IP) and their six Type I counterparts. Each Type I-Type IP pair of cements was manufactured at the same plant at about the same time to assure similarity in composition of the clinker portions. Data include results of chemical and physical tests on the cements according to ASTM C150 and C595, as well as physical properties of the concretes, including strength development, drying shrinkage, freeze-thaw durability, and resistance to deicer scaling, Data in the present study supplement findings in an earlier report on the same subject.
