RATIONAL ROAD MANAGEMENT : PART A EXPLANATION OF THE MANUAL

The objective of the system for "Rational Road Management" is to provide a more effective and more efficient way to spend maintenance costs. The history of the system and an explanation of the manual (part 60B) is first provided. The system consists of five parts: collecting and input of data; processing of data for maintenance planning; reporting policy; policy decision making and implementation of maintenance.
