CONTRIBUTION TO THE STUDY OF FRESH CONCRETE
CONTRIBUTION A L'ETUDE DU BETON FRAIS
The main objective of the investigation is to study from empirical facts the rheology of fresh mortar. An apparatus was developed for determining the flow curve of the material and deriving an equation describing its rheological conditions. Changes in rheological behaviour were shown to occur according to the dynamic conditions of the material (vibrated or not), solid concentration and shape of aggregates. Finally the influence of solid concentration, particle size distribution, shape and nature of aggregates on the viscosity of vibrated or non-vibrated fresh mortar is examined. /TRRL/
