VIALIDAD Y EXPLOTACION DE LA CARRETERA
Some traffic problems are reviewed from the safety and control point of view. Safety is dealt with first with (1) the installation of signs and signals at black spots, (2) study of junctions and need for establishing diversionary itineraries for special forms of transport. Current regulations governing the distance between buildings, publicity and surveillance are discussed. Attention is drawn to the increasing importance of automatic traffic control along the roads and near built-up-areas. /TRRL/
