CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF HIGH CLASS ASPHALT ROADS IN BELGIUM
The latest developments and trends in asphalt road surfacings and the maintenance techniques developed in Belgium are presented in this article. The following subjects are discussed: porous asphalt; chipped bituminous concrete; and maintenance techniques, including patching, maintenance of longitudinal joints, and maintenance management for secondary roads.
