PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TRANSIT TRAFFIC IN AUSTRIA. PROCEEDINGS - 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ROAD ACCIDENT TRAUMA ON TRANSIT ROUTES, ZAGREB, 21-23 MAY 1987
The paper discusses psychological and sociological aspects of through traffic during summer in Austria. It defines three groups of drivers according to their nationality (austrians, germans and turks) and describes characteristics of each group. It also presents measures to be taken to increase through traffic safety and the experiences obtained from the "mautern" rest area specially designed for Turkish passengers.
