MOBILITEIT BINNEN BEREIK; EEN PROFILERING VAN BEDRIJVEN EN LOKATIES

Travel demand and car use can be influenced in many ways. One of them is a better adjustment of spatial developments and the developments in the transportation system. Those firms and public facilities who have a high potential for the use of public transport by employers and visitors, should be located near facilities for public transport. In order to stimulate this development, the policy concept of a, b and c locations is developed in the Netherlands. However, to make the concept operational for policy measures, we should have a greater knowledge of the mobility of profiles of firms and the accessibility profiles of locations. In this paper, the first results are presented of a study, aimed on the development of a typology for these profiles.(a) for the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 825702.
