A CONTINUUM MODEL FOR PLASTIC-BRITTLE MATERIALS WITH APPLICATION TO A REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE. NUMERICAL MODELS IN GEOMECHANICS. NUMOG III. PROCEEDINGS OF THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM HELD AT NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA, 8-11 MAY 1989
A simple constitutive model applicable to concrete and rock-like materials is presented. The model is capable of describing typical trends in the response of these materials in a broad range of initial confining pressures. The proposed theory is implemented in the finite element code and applied to the numerical analysis of a reinforced concrete structure.(a).
