EXPERIMENTAL EVALUATION OF FUEL SAVING PRODUCTS. ACADEMIC CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS OF INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION ON ROAD TRANSPORT, BEIJING, CHINA, 7-12 MAY 1989
The evaluation of automotive fuel saving products deserves great caution since it relates to the test method, the accuracy of the test equipment, the test conditions and the processing of test data. The approaches for dealing with these things are discussed. Modes for the calculation of fuel saved and indicators for the estimation of the economic effects and performance of such products are described. The goal is to identify unified indicators for such evaluation. (Author/TRRL)
