RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE RAILWAY STATION IN APELDOORN . CONFERENCE PAPERS ON THE WORKING DAYS ON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING 1989
VERNIEUWING VAN DE STATIONSOMGEVING IN APELDOORN
The planned reconstruction of the apeldoorn station is described in this paper. It is necessary to build a new urban traffic artery, which opens the possibility for a wider infrastructural reconstruction around the station. Public transport can be improved this way by better connections. New environmental planning will also take place. The improved infrastructure will cost about 350 million Dutch gilders. The national government has promised to contribute. Plans will be executed between 1989 and 1993. (TRRL)
