DEVELOPMENT OF NEW ELECTROOPTICAL RANGE-FINDERS WITH SPECIAL SURVEY ON THE IMPULSE METHODS

RAZVOJ NOVIH ELEKTROOPTICKIH DALJINOMJERA S POSEBNIM OSVRTOM NA IMPULSNE DALJINOMJERE

The article briefly reviews the method of length measurement and analyzes why it was easier to achieve accurate results with former measuring methods compared with the impulse method. It describes new types of range-finders equipped with sensors for a vertical angle such as kern dm 150, dm 550 etc. It also describes the advantages of the impulse method of measuring lengths as compared to the phase method. Details are given of the operation of the wild di 3000 impulse range-finder and measurements using dior 3002. (TRRL)
