DESIGN OF CONCRETE BRIDGES WITH REGARD TO TEMPERATURE LOAD
PROJEKTIRANJE BETONSKIH MOSTOVA S OBZIROM NA TEMPERATURNO OPTERECENJE
Investigations of engineering structures prove that temperature variations are the main causes of damage to concrete structures. The article presents analytical methods for the calculation of strains and stresses for the given nonlinear temperature gradient. It discusses temperature gradient according to some national regulations (Federal Republic of Germany, Great Britain, New Zealand and USA). Comparative calculation of different gradients has been performed on a real bridge.
