RESULTS FROM LABORATORY TESTS OF ON-SURFACE RELATIVE PERMEABILITY OF CONCRETE
The paper provides further information on relative permeability (rp) of concrete using the previously described test in the laboratory. Rp is characterised in terms of a parameter k, the slope of the log pressure/time decay plot, which is shown to be a good indicator of change. Data are provided on the effects on k of a wide range of factors and it is concluded that early age curing and the inclusion of pfa can significantly affect, rp, as well as the nature of the surface through which the gas enters the concrete.
