UPLIFT BEHAVIOR OF HORIZONTAL ANCHOR PLATES IN SAND. DISCUSSION
This is a discussion of a paper of the above title by E.A. Dickin published in Vol 114, No. 11 of this journal. The discussers comment upon a significant discrepancy between the scaled failure displacements inferred from centrifuge tests by the author, and the results of full scale field uplift tests on spread foundations. The discussion is followed by a closure by the author.
