UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DEADLINE EXTENDED
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the financial responsibility deadline for owners of underground petroleum storage tanks to October 26, 1991. This was done in part because of the 34 states which have established trust funds to supplement or replace tank-leak insurance only 7 have been approved by the EPA to date.
