This planning guide is a result of a course/conference held in the University of Waterloo in March 1974. The Publication includes chapters on Transit Planning and Characteristics of Ontario Transit Operations, Demand for Transit Operating Philosophies, Costs in the Transit Industry, Example of Functional Desing and Constring of Transit Routes, Retailed Planning for Transit Routes, Integrating Dial-a-Bus into Fixed Route Bus Systems, Reserved Bus Lane Case Study, Automatic Vehicle Monitoring and Control System, Marketing Urban Bus Transit and Future Outlook. /RTAC/
