CALIFORNIA VOTES $3 BILLION FOR RAIL
Voters in the state of California went to the polls and approved Propositions 108, 111, and 116 which when added together, will allot nearly $3 billion towards rail projects in the area. Although Proposition 111 is essentially for highway projects with vague references to transit and rail projects, the other two Propositions clearly specify just where the moneys are to be spent for transit projects.
