TEEN DRIVERS FACTS. 2ND EDITION

This booklet presents data on teenage drivers in California, comparing their accident and conviction records with those of older drivers. It also reviews recent research on risk-taking by young drivers, and discusses young driver accident countermeasures. The primary purpose of the booklet is to provide traffic safety administrators with information for making program and policy decisions; it also is meant to provide information to the insurance industry and to scholars and research in traffic safety.
