MANAGEMENT, ACQUISITION, AND USE OF MOTOR VEHICLES

The Directive reissues DoD Directive 4500.36, July 18, 1979, to update policy, procedures, and responsibilities for DoD-owned and -controlled motor vehicles. It authorizes the publication of DoD 4500.36-R, 'Management, Acquisition, and Use of Motor Vehicles', consistent with DoD 5025.1-M.
