A GENERALIZATION OF HVORSLEV'S EQUIVALENT STRESS. PROCEEDINGS OF THE SIXTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NUMERICAL METHODS IN GEOMECHANICS, 11-15 APRIL 1988, INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA. VOLUMES 1 - 3
A tensorial memory parameter is introduced into a constitutive equation in order to describe anisotropic cohesion. Plane strain tests with clay in a kinematically controlled biaxial apparatus are used in order to calibrate and corroborate this model. (Author/TRRL)
