MOLYBDENUM TRIOXIDE - AN ACCELERATOR OF PORTLAND CEMENT HYDRATION
It has been found that technical-grade molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) significantly accelerated the hydration of portland cement at 5 to 10% (by weight of cement) dosages. The observation and measurement (by calorimetry) of this unusual reactivity is reported.
