SNOWMOBILES CAN BE SAFE VEHICLES. OFF THE JOB
Snowmobiles can be safe vehicles when used as intended, and accidents can be reduced if snowmobilers are aware of the hazards facing them and act in a responsible manner. Snowmobilers are urged to be familiar with the laws and regulations that apply to them, and basic training and knowledge are prerequisites for the beginning operator. Thorough familiarity with the owner's manual is urged. The article offers tips on how hazards may be avoided.
