THE MID-WEEK VACATION
This article gives some tips on how one can drive safely, and at the same time with high performance. High performance cars can be driven safely because they offer a great deal of control in most driving situations. The necessity for educating onself on the basics of high performance driving is pointed out. Other important safety tips are discussed and include pre-check before starting out, accelerating smoothly and changing gears crisply, proper and restrained braking, and steady and smooth steering. The importance of allowing a margin of error and staying within 80% of the vehicle's and driver's capabilities is emphasized. Courtesy to all other traffic is also urged.
