MAKING BETTER USE OF URBAN RAILWAYS
As the populations of developing countries surpasses the one million and ten million inhabitants levels in the coming years, the need for investing in the kind of transportation which will offer high capacity and high frequency service becomes more pressing. Most of the countries have ignored the benefits of rail transportation, be it conventional railways or metro systems, for addressing urban transport needs and have thus possibly, overlooked a very viable solution to their mobility needs.
