PROJECT ACTION TO INSTIGATE NEW WHEELCHAIR SECUREMENT TECHNOLOGY
Project ACTION, a program funded by Congress to develop model identification, marketing, outreach, and training programs and spur innovative technology and techniques for community transportation, is acting to spur new technology with regard to wheelchair securement in transit vehicles and avoid protests, pickets and demonstrations as the Americans with Disabilities Act is increasing the active role of disabled persons in transportation.
