TEMPORARY SOLUTIONS BEING FOUND FOR CFCS
The transit industry is reclaiming refrigerants and converting air conditioning systems from R12 to R22 as temporary solutions to the Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) pollution problem. These efforts will cause a lower percentage of the depletion of the ozone layer, while newer and more effective solutions are being tested.
