SAFETY BUMPER CRASH TESTS: PASSENGERS, BUS PROTECTED
Testing of a new bumper developed by Romeo Rim Inc. on Blue Bird buses has shown that the bumper reduces damage to the bus while passengers sustain minor injuries, if any at all. It offers protection in the 20-to-30 mph range for the vehicle and provides an extra margin of protection for passengers when higher speeds are involved. The new bumper is being used around the country on all types of school buses with very favorable results.
