IMPROVEMENTS IN GROUTING OF LARGE GROUND ANCHORS. DISCUSSION
This is the discussion of a paper of the above title by A.C. Houlsby published in Vol. 114, No. 4 (April, 1988) of this journal. The discussers King and Graf comment on some of the features of the presentation: flow cone viscosity tests; bleeding grout; lignin; aluminum powder. The discusser Schupak notes that the tests were not representative of true field conditions. Comments are made on the use of grouts and grout additives. The discussions are followed by a closure by the author.
